Trump put his hand on Charles III's back several times at Windsor Castle.
On Wednesday, September 17, during a state visit to the UK, US President Donald Trump repeatedly put his hand on the back of King Charles III.
Two such episodes were included in the footage of American TV channels that broadcast a military ceremony at Windsor Castle.
Before it began, the American leader patted Charles III on the back while climbing onto the platform from which they watched the event, RT reports.
Earlier, Trump and his wife Melania arrived at the residence of King Charles III of Great Britain in Windsor, Moscow 24 reported.
The American leader's helicopter landed on the lawn of the castle, where they were first greeted by the Prince and Princess of Wales, William and Catherine. After that, they headed to the castle, where they were already met by the British monarch and his wife Camilla, IA Regnum reports.
After that, Trump and his wife, accompanied by Charles III, went to the castle in a black and gold carriage to participate in a military parade. Already there, the American leader talked with British army soldiers and conducted a joint inspection of the troops with the King of Great Britain.
This is Trump's second visit to Britain. During it, he is scheduled to meet with the Prime Minister of the kingdom, Keir Starmer.
Trump arrived in the UK at Stansted Airport a day earlier. The American leader was accompanied by the First Lady of the United States Melania Trump. The Politico newspaper reported on September 17 that the British authorities want to use King Charles III to negotiate with Trump on Ukraine. According to the newspaper, the king is "very close" to the details of the ceasefire negotiations and personally to the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky.
