An accident involving a Renault Trafic minivan and a VAZ passenger car occurred in the Luhansk People's Republic (LNR), injuring nine people. This was announced on September 17 by the press service of the regional traffic Police department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The accident occurred on the A-258 highway of the Markovsky municipal district. According to police, the Renault Trafic was driven by a 58-year-old man who could not maintain a safe distance to the moving car in front.
"Renault Trafic <...> drove into oncoming traffic, where it collided with a VAZ-2101 car driving in the same direction and making a left turn, driven by an 80-year—old man," TASS quoted the text of the message.
The driver and two passengers of a passenger car, as well as six passengers of a foreign car, were injured by the impact of vehicles.
On the morning of September 15, a minibus with eight people in the cabin was involved in an accident in the Chelyabinsk region. Two of them died on the spot, four were taken to the hospital, two more received abrasions and minor bruises. As it turned out, the man driving the car was intoxicated.
