Firefighters extinguished a fire in Kamensk-Shakhtinsk, Rostov region. This was announced on September 17 by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

"The fire has been eliminated," the department wrote on its Telegram channel.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that in Kamensk-Shakhtinsk, Rostov region, as a result of a landscape fire, five private houses and one outbuilding were damaged. 55 specialists and 17 pieces of equipment were involved to eliminate the fire. Later, the number of affected houses increased to seven.
