The United States did not allow Belavia to fly on Boeing planes to Russia

The United States has banned the Belarusian airline Belavia from using Boeing aircraft for flights to a number of countries. This follows from a document published on September 17 on the website of the Bureau of Industry and Security of the United States Department of Commerce.

"This permit does not allow flights to Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Syria <...>. Such flights may be allowed separately in accordance with the license or an exception from the license," the document says.
