- Producer Prigozhin explained Pugacheva's behavior by the loss of influence in the Russian Federation
Music producer Joseph Prigozhin called Alla Pugacheva's main problem, which is why she is behaving like this now.
In an interview with Radio 1 on Wednesday, September 17, he noted that the main difficulty of the artist is the loss of influence in Russia. As an example, he cited Joseph Kobzon, who retained his authority and resources until the end of his life, emphasizing that such opportunities are of great importance for any major public figure.
"As soon as you lose them, no one needs you. She didn't want to exist in this format, so she left," Prigozhin said.
He added that Pugacheva would not have left the country if she had retained power and could have influenced the situation, but this did not happen. According to him, the singer tried to get Maxim Galkin (included in the register of foreign agents of the Russian Federation) to be allowed into Russia, but was unable to resolve this issue. Then she realized that she was no longer an influential woman, and she did not want to remain in the status of an "inactive pensioner." At the same time, Prigozhin added, Pugacheva sought to maintain independence, not supporting the country and the president, but at the same time solving her own problems.
The producer noted that Pugacheva raised political issues that she could have avoided, and thus caused increased media attention. According to him, such statements ensure high clickability and popularity growth, because people begin to search for their own truth, to argue. He stressed that he is well acquainted with the singer and considers her a talented artist, but in that interview she unexpectedly went into details and even mentioned other performers, which, in his opinion, is not typical for her.
Earlier that day, Pugacheva reacted to criticism for the first time after an interview with Katerina Gordeeva (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation). She noted that "the momentary impulse to speak was gone."
On September 16, lawyer Alexander Treshchev filed a lawsuit against Alla Pugacheva, demanding 1.5 billion rubles in compensation for moral damage. The basis was her interview, where she spoke positively about the first president of the self-proclaimed Chechen Republic of Ichkeria (a terrorist organization banned in Russia). Dzhokhar Dudaev and criticized the actions of the Russian authorities. According to Treshchev, these words offended the veterans of military operations.
Later that day, the head of the Federal Security and Anti-Corruption Project, Vitaly Borodin, announced the start of collecting signatures against singer Alla Pugacheva, who is accused of treason after her recent interview. In addition, social activist Vitaly Borodin proposed to deprive the singer of the status of People's Artist of the USSR. He will address the relevant initiative to President Vladimir Putin, the website writes. kp.ru .
Earlier, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, in his Telegram channel called singer Alla Pugacheva's arguments about Dudayev "stupid". In his opinion, she has no right to evaluate such events, notes 360.ru .
On September 15, it was reported that the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation accepted for consideration the request of lawyer Alexander Treshchev to verify the statements of singer Alla Pugacheva made in her recent interview, writes RT. He demands that the singer's statements be checked for signs of justification of terrorism and extremism, as well as for the possible dissemination of false information about the Russian Armed Forces, the NSN notes.
