A criminal case was opened in St. Petersburg about debauchery in a boarding house.

An employee of the cadet corps "Boarding School for pupils of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation", located in St. Petersburg, is being charged in a case of indecent acts against a minor. This was announced on September 17 by the TV channel 78.ru .

It is reported that during the period from August 2022 to November 2024, a mechanic for sound equipment maintenance performed sexual acts on a 14-year-old boarding school student several times. It is specified that the indecent acts were carried out in the sound engineering cabin of the building on the embankment of the Rowing Canal.

The investigation opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 135 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Lewd acts"). The criminal was given a preventive measure in the form of a written undertaking not to leave. The accused admitted his guilt.

Earlier, on February 4, a coach was detained in St. Petersburg on suspicion of sexual assault against a 12-year-old boy. A criminal case was opened on this fact under Part 2 of Article 135 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Lewd acts").
