- The State Duma criticized Zelensky's words about the desire to seek an apology from the Russian Federation
Mikhail Sheremet, a State Duma deputy from the Crimean region and a member of the security committee, called the words of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky that Russians would have to ask for forgiveness hypocritical.
"Zelensky's words about who will ask for forgiveness look like a farce and are hypocrisy. Zelensky meanly kept silent that he was the culprit of the military conflict provoked on the territory of Ukraine and only he was responsible," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
Earlier, the Ukrainian leader said in an interview with Sky News that the Russians would ask for forgiveness. He also called on Western countries to stop thinking about themselves and their future relations with Russia and start thinking more about Ukraine.
