The court arrested businessman Chichvarkin in absentia in the case of fakes about the Russian army

The Moscow court arrested Businessman Evgeny Chichvarkin in absentia (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation). This was reported on September 17 in the Telegram channel of the courts of general jurisdiction of the capital.

"By a decision of the Dorogomilovsky District Court of Moscow, the investigator's petition for the election of a preventive measure in the form of detention in respect of Evgeny Alexandrovich Chichvarkin, accused of committing crimes under paragraph "d" of Part 2 of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ["Public dissemination of deliberately false information about the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation"] was satisfied; part 2 of art. 330.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ["Evasion from fulfilling duties stipulated by the legislation of the Russian Federation on foreign agents"], for a period of 2 months," the message says.
