Nine SEZs will promote the standard of public business capital

The Association of Clusters, Technoparks and SEZs of Russia (AKIT RF) and ANO "Public Capital" have signed an agreement on joint promotion of the standard of public capital of business. Special economic zones from nine regions will also become ambassadors of the standard, the press service of the NGO "Public Capital" reports.

"SEZs are points of advanced development, places where the future is being created today. For resident companies, this means that they cannot simply repeat old business models. To be competitive, they need to go beyond the traditional mindset. This is where our Standard becomes ideologically attractive, because it provides a roadmap and new guidelines for a new generation of businesses. He teaches companies to think in terms of not only financial profit, but also long—term sustainability," said Asiyat Bagatyrova, CEO of NGO "Public Capital".

The ambassadors included the special economic zones Technopolis Moscow (Moscow), Kulibin (Nizhny Novgorod Region) and Titanium Valley (Sverdlovsk Region). SEZ Ulyanovsk (Ulyanovsk region), Moglino (Pskov Region), Lipetsk (Lipetsk Region), Tolyatti (Samara Region), Avangard (Omsk Region) and Alga (Republic of Bashkortostan) will also promote the standard.

"By combining our competencies and resources, we will be able to offer companies even more effective tools to increase their investment attractiveness and contribution to achieving national goals," said Mikhail Labudin, Director of the AKIT of the Russian Federation, noting that the agreement will help introduce the principles of sustainable development into the activities of the Management Company.

Organizations that have been assessed according to the standard of public business capital will receive priority rights to government support measures, which are being developed by ANO "Public Capital" together with federal executive authorities and development institutions.

Since 2022, AKIT has been integrating the principles of sustainable development into the work of SEZs, industrial technology parks and industrial parks.
