On September 17, Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Yaroslav Zheleznyak announced on his YouTube channel the refusal of Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky to recognize Donbass as Russian.

According to him, Zelensky personally informed the parliamentarians about this at a closed meeting with the Servant of the People faction.
