Igor Rastorguev, a leading analyst at AMarkets, told Izvestia on September 17.

According to him, after the successful introduction of the digital ruble in the public sector, this practice will gradually cover large enterprises with state participation and key industries. However, Rastorguev noted that the transition in the private sector will take place more slowly.

"But in the future, the digital ruble will become a standard instrument for any payments, including wages," the economist said.
