- The MAYOR greeted the Moscow — Samara car rally with a digital greeting in Nizhny Novgorod
Russia's first Moscow—Samara expert car rally has arrived in Nizhny Novgorod. The convoy started from the capital on September 15. The MAER media holding is the general information partner of the run.
More than 1,700 km of roads, 8 regions, 15 crews and more than 40 participants — experts, representatives of federal authorities, road travelers and bloggers — will explore routes and infrastructure for motorists.
"The purpose of the rally is multifaceted: to show the beauty of Russia to its residents, to demonstrate the capabilities of our automotive industry, as well as to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the transport infrastructure. MAER media holding has become a particularly important partner in this project, which, thanks to its technologies, practically broadcasts the convoy's passage online," said Pavel Smelov, General Director of the Center for Strategic Research Foundation.
AvtoVAZ provided 10 cars to the participants and plans to evaluate how well the cars meet the requirements and expectations of the most demanding car tourists.
"The main result of the rally is not only a systematic analysis of the infrastructure and the identification of specific problems, but also the pleasure of the participants, the opportunity to discover new things every day and share this experience with a wide audience," said Sergey Gromak, Vice President for External Relations and Interaction with AVTOVAZ shareholders.
The MAER media holding provides comprehensive information support for the event. Even before the start of the rally, the MAER launched an announcement on the screens with a countdown to the start. The holding's media facades also display the statistics of the rally in real time: the distance traveled, the main points of the route and the photo reports of travelers.
In Nizhny Novgorod, the participants were greeted by the largest media facade of the city with a bright welcome.
"Our task is to interest our audience, to give emotions. That is why we have chosen a multi-channel approach: from live broadcasts and a large-scale campaign on media facades, on digital screens in the Burger King network and check points to information waves in our media and social media. And technology allows content to be personalized. For example, in Nizhny Novgorod, we personally welcomed the participants," said Konstantin Mayor, owner and CEO of the MAER media holding.
In total, information about the rally from the digital screens of the MAER media holding will be seen about 40 million times across the network in 10 days.
