- The VK Education and Moscow Music School grant program is open for music managers, authors and producers.
The Moscow Music School, part of the University of Creative Industries Universal University, and VK Education announce the launch of a grant competition for future music managers, producers and authors. Applications are open for the Music Business, Music Producer and Songwriting programs. You can apply from September 17th to October 3rd.
As part of the grant program, 18 study places will be provided. The winners will be able to master the sought-after professions of the music industry under the guidance of experts from Moscow Music School, VK Education and VK Records label.
Areas of training:
● "Music Business" (8 grants): artist development strategies and promotion of releases, organization of concert activities, legal framework and scouting.
● "Music Producer" (8 grants): creative production, music production and post-production.
● "Songwriting" (2 grants): the creation of texts, the development of the author's style and the development of their own musical projects.
The selection process for the grant program will take place in two stages. At the first stage, you need to fill out a questionnaire and talk about your motivation in the format of an essay or a short video. An additional task is provided for each program. Those who successfully pass the first stage of the selection process will be invited to the second stage — an interview.
The jury of the second stage included Anatoly Ice, curator of the Moscow Music School, Stas Astakhov, curator of the Moscow Music School and member of the SBHR group, Pavel Zhilov, curator of the Moscow Music School, Marina Lapkina, head of artist marketing at ONErpm, Victoria Pudova, head of the A&R and Label Management department at VK Records, Roman, music producers of the VK Records label CVPELLV and Andrey Grigoryan (Greg).
"The launch of the grant program in cooperation with VK Education opens up new opportunities for young professionals. We see how interest in the music industry is growing, and we strive to give talented applicants access to high—quality education and practical knowledge that will help them realize themselves in the profession," says Artem Adyrkhaev, director of the Moscow Music School.

Studies at the Moscow Music School will start in November 2025 and will last one academic year. Details about the competition, the conditions for obtaining grants and the requirements for the applications of participants can be found on the Moscow Music School website.
