Liksutov invited to the closing of the Moscow motorcycle season

In honor of the closing of the motorcycle season, the Moscow Motorcycle Festival will be held on September 27 on Vorobyovy Gory. The draw will take place soon, which will determine the order of entry of motorcycle clubs on the track during the race, told in Deptrans.

Representatives of motorcycle associations can apply to participate in the draw on September 19 inclusive. To participate in the draw, a motorcycle club or motorcycle society must meet two criteria: have its own website and have official symbols (patches on vests, emblems with the club's logo and name).

"We invite motorcycle clubs and motorcycle societies to register for the draw and join the main motorcycle race this fall. Our motorcycle festivals have become a good tradition in the capital and invariably remind motorcycle enthusiasts of the importance of polite behavior on the roads. We continue to improve the culture of safe driving, as instructed by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin," said Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor for Transport and Industry.

Every year, the beginning and end of the motorcycle season are celebrated in the city. A large-scale entertainment program is being prepared for visitors.

The start of this year's motorcycle season was celebrated on April 26. The Vorobyovy Gory Festival was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. A column of motorcyclists drove along the Garden Ring. For the first time in history, retrotechnics from the War Engines Museum participated in the race. For the spring motorcycle festival, the staff of the Central Museum of the Armed Forces of Russia made a copy of the Victory Banner. He was fixed on the motorcycle of one of the participants of the motorcycle race. In total, more than 10,000 motorcyclists rode in the convoy that day.
