Gzhel station will be decorated with handicraft ornaments

In the Moscow region, work has begun on the design of the platform at the Gzhel station. It will be painted with traditional blue and white patterns, the press service of the CPPK reports.

The stop point of the Kazan direction of the Moscow Railway is located in the Ramenskoye district. Earlier, major repairs were carried out there, writes the online publication Podmoskovye Segodnya.

About 400 foundation blocks and 250 floor slabs were replaced at the station, more than 1,700 square meters of paving stones were laid, and 500 meters of safety lines were installed. The builders also put the stairs in order, updated information signs, installed bins and benches, and installed lighting.

The design of the platform is carried out jointly with the Gzhel Porcelain Factory, which is located in the village of Rechitsy. The company's artist applies traditional handicraft ornaments to columns and benches.

Earlier it was reported that about 50 km of regional roads leading to railway stations were put in order in the Moscow region. The work was carried out within the framework of the national project.
