The Treasury made the first payment of salaries in digital rubles, which was received by a civil servant. This was announced on September 17 by the press service of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation.

"The first budget payment in digital rubles has been successfully completed. The Russian Treasury has made the first payment of wages in digital rubles to a person holding a government position in the Russian Federation," the department wrote on its Telegram channel.
