Rescuers have recovered the bodies of three people who died when an all-terrain vehicle fell into a lake in Transbaikalia. This was announced on September 17 by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the region in the Telegram channel.
"Divers of Zabaikalpozhspas State Enterprise have recovered the bodies of three victims on a lake in the Kalarsky municipal district. To date, the work has been completed, the combined squad on the Mi-8 helicopter has returned to Chara," the publication says.
It is specified that the bodies of the victims were taken to the CRH for identification. In addition, the operation will continue on September 18.
A day earlier, it became known that an all-terrain vehicle with failed brakes flew into Lake Amudisa and drowned. A criminal case was opened after the incident.
On September 17, it was reported that the specialists of the Ministry of Emergency Situations went by helicopter to the Kalarsky municipal District of the Trans-Baikal Territory to the crash site of an all-terrain vehicle in Lake Amudisa. It was clarified that there were nine geologists in the interior of the tracked vehicles. Four of them were able to get out on their own.
