The Zapad group of forces improved the tactical situation and defeated the manpower and equipment of the Ukrainian armed forces in the Kharkiv region and the DPR. As a result of the actions of Russian military personnel, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) lost more than 250 militants, a British-made Snatch armored fighting vehicle, 28 vehicles, two artillery pieces, a Seyalka multiple launch rocket launcher, nine electronic warfare stations and an ammunition depot.

"The units of the Center group of forces have improved their position along the front line. The manpower and equipment of a heavy mechanized, two mechanized, a jaeger, an assault, three amphibious assault brigades, an assault regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a marine brigade, a defense brigade and a National Guard brigade were defeated in the areas of the settlements of Belitskoye, New Donbass, Krasny Liman, Lenino, Rodinskoye, Dimitrov and Krasnoarmeysk of the Donetsk People's Republic. The losses of the Ukrainian armed forces amounted to over 535 military personnel, five armored combat vehicles, including an M113 armored personnel carrier, a MaxxPro armored car and a US—made HMMWV armored vehicle, 12 vehicles and three artillery pieces," the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.

The Russian army, with the help of aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), missiles and artillery, defeated railway infrastructure facilities involved in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, storage and launch sites for long-range drones, as well as temporary locations of Ukrainian armed forces and foreign mercenaries in 149 districts. In turn, air defense systems shot down 357 aircraft-type drones. The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation also destroyed an unmanned enemy boat in the northwestern part of the Black Sea.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, since the beginning of the special operation, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have lost 667 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 84,865 UAVs, 628 anti-aircraft missile systems, 25,138 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,592 multiple launch rocket launchers, 29,657 field artillery and mortars, 42,034 pieces of special vehicles.
