In Lipetsk, a 17-year-old teenager is suspected of robbing an electronic cigarette and accessories store. The attacker was detained, the press service of the regional department of the Interior Ministry reported on Wednesday, September 17.

The incident occurred on the night of September 8th. An unknown person broke the glass of the entrance door of the outlet and took out goods and valuables worth 67.8 thousand rubles. He also pulled out more than 15.5 thousand rubles from the cash register.

During the operational search activities and the analysis of recordings from surveillance cameras, it was possible to identify the thief. He turned out to be an unemployed minor from the regional capital, GOROD48 writes.

A criminal case was opened against the defendant under Part 2 of Article 158 of the Criminal Code of Russia "Theft committed with illegal entry into a room or other storage and causing significant damage to a citizen." The teenager faces imprisonment for up to five years. He is currently on his own recognizance.
