Russia does not rule out the continuation of prisoner of war exchanges and contacts with Ukraine amid a pause in the negotiation process. This was announced by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov at a briefing on September 17.

"We are talking about this, but so far, as you can see, there is also a certain pause here, which at the same time does not mean that these exchanges cannot be continued," Peskov said.

This is how he commented on the exchange of prisoners of war and the transfer of the bodies of the dead between the parties within the framework of the agreements reached in Istanbul.
