Volunteers of the Golden Hands of an Angel organization from the Kuntsevo district in Moscow handed over protective multilayer blankets for thermal imagers to soldiers on the front line of a special military operation (SVO). This was reported on September 16 by the Moscow news portal mos.ru .

Such bedspreads began to be sewn using a unique technology, the secret of which was not disclosed by the organization. Despite this, the Russian military highly appreciated such products. At the same time, volunteers are constantly improving their design to increase the effectiveness of protection against drones and thermal imagers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"Similar factory products are strictly rectangular in shape. We sew flounces around the perimeter of the bedspread so that it practically merges with the relief and is indistinguishable from the drone. It becomes invisible to the thermal imager thanks to another know-how — the use of several types of special fabrics with protective properties," said Amira Magomedova, head of the Molodogvardeets branch of the Golden Hands of an Angel volunteer organization in Kuntsevo.

The volunteers have already received more than 150 applications for such products, 10 of them have already gone to the line of operations. The next batch will go to the front line on October 7.

In addition, the organization's members sew fleece hats and sweatshirts at home, and make boots for Ilizarov's device for hospitals, as well as special pillows for the wounded.

Earlier, on September 16, entrepreneurs from the Levoberezhny district of the Northern Administrative District (CAO) of Moscow collected food packages for military personnel. It is noted that 250 food packages, including soups, second courses, homemade jam and condensed milk, were collected and handed over to the military at one time.
