In Russia, most banks reduce interest rates on savings accounts after reducing the key rate to 17% per annum.

"Earlier, Sberbank announced that from September 19 it will reduce the rates on savings accounts, the maximum for a regular savings account will now be 13.5%," RIA Novosti reports.

In addition, Natalia Mulganova, head of savings products at Dom RF Bank, said that for the Ultra deposit linked to the key rate, the rate was automatically adjusted after the decision of the Central Bank (CB). Currently, it is 15% with a daily balance if the client's account has up to 6 million rubles, as well as 15.9% with a balance from 6 to 500 million rubles.
