On July 1, a criminal case was opened against Dudya. The blogger was suspected under Part 2 of Article 330.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. In addition, it was clarified that during the year he was twice brought to administrative responsibility under Part 4 of Article 19.34 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of the procedure for the activities of a foreign agent").

On June 30, the prosecutor's office of the capital initiated criminal proceedings against Dudya.
