The European Union has prepared a new package of sanctions against Russia

The European Union (EU) will introduce a new package of sanctions against Russia. This was announced on September 16 by the head of the European Commission (EC) Ursula von der Leyen on the social network X.

"The Commission will soon present its 19th package of sanctions against cryptocurrencies, banks and energy," the publication says.

Also, according to von der Leyen, the EU will phase out the import of Russian fuel.
