The President of Cuba announced the death of the country's Deputy Prime Minister Cabrisas.

Cuban Deputy Prime Minister Ricardo Cabrisas, who served as co-chairman of the Russian-Cuban Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation, has died. The death of the politician was announced by Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel on his page on the social network X on Tuesday, September 16.

"It is very sad news for Cuba that our dear friend Ricardo Cabrisas Ruiz, an exceptional man who devoted his whole life to the revolution, has died," the Cuban leader wrote.
