WADA informant Rodchenkov spoke about obtaining political asylum in the United States

Former head of the Moscow Anti-Doping Laboratory and informant of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Grigory Rodchenkov in his book "Doping. Forbidden Pages" recalled how in 2019 he received a document on political asylum in the United States.

"Now, with a strange feeling, I hold three cherished pages in my hands — and I don't know what to do with them. It's like they brought me a letter from last year, sent to an old address where I haven't been for a long time. I live in another place under a different name, and this document does not change anything in my life. But it's still an incredible success. Now I'm an American," he shared, as quoted by Sport24.
