In St. Petersburg, the construction permit for a section of the Krasnoselsko-Kalininskaya metro line has been extended once again. This is reported by 78.ru with reference to the relevant document published by Gosstroynadzor.

The construction permit for the section from Yugo-Zapadnaya to Putilovskaya is now valid until December 31, 2026. It covers the construction of above-ground station lobbies, the mine's evacuation exit, and five ventilation shaft kiosks.

Initially, the construction permit for the first section of the Krasnoselsko-Kalininskaya line was valid until June 30, 2023, but it was extended in May of the same year. The work was scheduled to be completed by September 30, 2025.

On August 28, Governor Alexander Beglov, in an interview with 78 TV channel, said that construction work at the Yugo-Zapadnaya and Putilovskaya stations themselves would be completed by the end of 2025. According to data at the end of the same month, the readiness of the Yugo-Zapadnaya station was 90%. The floors and walls have already been lined with natural granite, architectural lighting and four escalators have been installed, and the glass dome of the engineering atrium has appeared on the roof of the lobby. The installation of a glass panel with motifs of the northern nature was completed in the ticket hall.
