Scientific success stories, a dialogue between science and business, an exhibition of technologies and start–ups, career opportunities in leading companies, scientific battles, film screenings, intellectual games - all this and much more awaits the participants of the jubilee, V Congress of Young Scientists. The Congress will be held on November 26-28, 2025 at the Sirius University of Science and Technology.
The Congress of Young Scientists is annually attended by representatives of leading scientific schools from different regions of Russia, scientific and educational organizations, government authorities, businesses and state corporations, industrial partners, and most importantly, young scientists, competition winners, grant recipients, students and schoolchildren from Russia and other countries.
"To date, more than four thousand applications for participation in the Congress of Young Scientists have already been submitted. From year to year, we are witnessing the strengthening of scientific cooperation between Russia and partners around the world. In 2024, representatives of 63 foreign countries took part in the Congress, and the IX BRICS Young Scientists Forum, held on the sidelines, gathered a record number of participants in the entire history of its existence. This year we expect no less representative participation of Russian and foreign scientists. We continue to work to ensure conditions for foreign participants, and they will receive language and visa support," said Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation and head of the interdepartmental working group on the preparation and holding of the Congress of Young Scientists and satellite events.
The program of the V Congress will focus on the topics of scientific and technological development and the role of science in the implementation of the priorities of the Strategy of Scientific and Technological Development of Russia, updated in 2024. The site will host an exhibition of modern Russian technologies, where scientific and industrial partners of the Congress will present technological achievements from all over the country. The Congress will also include events in the context of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, dedicated to the preservation of the historical scientific heritage of the war years and the feat of scientists and teachers during the war.
