Footage from the site of the IDF strike on the office of the Al Mayadeen channel in Gaza has been published

The Israeli army destroyed the office of the Al Mayadeen channel and many other media outlets in the Al-Gafri Tower in Gaza. This was reported to Izvestia on September 16 by Al Mayadeen journalist Mahmoud Alawadia.

"We are now at the Al-Gafri Tower in Gaza City, a building that the Israeli occupation army has completely razed to the ground. In the background, you can see the ruins of a high-rise building with eighteen floors, and it stood for more than 30 years. The Israeli military razed this building to the ground," Alawadia said.

The journalist said that the now-demolished building housed dozens of editorial offices of the Gaza media. Among them was the office of the Al Mayadeen TV channel, which had been operating for more than 15 years, showing the world what was happening and exposing Israel's crimes.

"Today, by attacking the tower under far—fetched pretexts, the Israeli army is trying to muffle and conceal the truth that is being heard and broadcast from here, from this place," Alawadia said.
