One of the main events of the festival was a production about kung fu, which was presented on the stage of the Maly Theater. The Long Yun Theater Company, founded by the famous Chinese actor Jackie Chan, demonstrated how the principles of this martial art are connected to Chinese culture at a deep level.
"Jackie Chan is not just a senior friend and a master for us, he is like a relative for us, because he showed us what it means to be a real person," said Soo Xiao Pan, an artist of the Long Yun troupe.
The performance consists of five acts. It tells the story of this martial art.
The actors of the production skillfully create the illusion of a real fight. This allows you to combine the beauty of movement, discipline and the spiritual aspects of martial arts.
