From November 27 to November 30, the Moscow International Video Game Week will be held in the Russian capital for the first time. The event will bring together key industry representatives, including Min Le, the developer and creator of the iconic Counter—Strike game.

According to a press release received by Izvestia, Min Le will perform on November 29 as part of the business program of the Moscow International Video Game Week. The "founding father" of Counter-Strike will tell about the history of the origin of the era of multiplayer shooters. He will also talk to the audience about why the approach to creating games, which focuses on respect for the player, his time, money and emotions, has remained the benchmark for more than 20 years.

In addition, the presentation will focus on how to turn the gaming community into a co-author of the project without losing the author's vision. The expert will tell you which principles helped the game survive the generational and technological changes, as well as where real innovations are born today.

The International Video Game Week will be held at the Moscow Cluster of Video Games and Animation. Its business program includes a total of more than 50 sessions, which will be attended by about 200 Russian and foreign experts. There are four thematic tracks — "Industry Trends", "Game ecosystem", "Industry Technologies" and "The player decides everything".

The city program of the event will bring together more than 330 venues throughout Moscow — computer clubs, electronics stores, educational institutions and cultural spaces. The event is organized by the Moscow Creative Industries Agency under the Moscow Department of Culture.
