The best chefs from Europe, the Middle East and Russia have teamed up in Moscow to create culinary masterpieces. Gastronomic tours are taking place in the capital. And it's not just about food, but also culture, traditions, and friendship. This was announced on September 16 by a correspondent of Izvestia.

The meeting in the capital began with Glinka's opera at the Bolshoi Theatre. Italian chefs Damiano Ruggiero and Luca Rossi watched Ruslan and Lyudmila on the historical stage for the first time.

"It's fantastic, of course. It's an amazing production. Voices, scenery, actors. And what a choreography! I am very impressed," said Chef Ruggiero.

Walks, excursions, visits to theaters are part of their cultural program. Ruggiero and Rossi work in restaurants in Dubai. They came to the capital on a gastronomic tour to surprise Moscow gourmets with culinary delights.

"We will offer a purely classic Italian menu, but, of course, with an emphasis on quality. Let's start with sea bass marinated in citrus fruits, then move on to pasta with seafood," Rossi said.

The gastronomic tour brought together 10 leading chefs from the United Arab Emirates (UAE). They work in the same kitchen with Russian chefs, as well as share recipes and create new dishes.

"There are completely different tastes, and most importantly, they are new. That is, to say that someone came and brought a dish that we have already tried, this has never happened. Many people treat our chefs with even greater respect after these dinners, and, of course, there is a growing interest in the Emirates," says Alexander Sysoev, founder of the GreatList guide.

Each boss has his own concept. To understand the Russian soul, Japanese Takashi Namekata and Hisao Ueda try Russian dishes. And they get to know Russian history better.

Gastronomic tours are not only about food, but also about friendship and the connection of cultures. The participants of this project are waiting for our chefs to visit and plan to return to Moscow themselves. Many have even started learning Russian.

On September 8, it was reported that the official presentation of the Culinary Association (AKM) took place in Moscow. The new organization is aimed at developing gastronomic culture, as well as maintaining sustainable development, innovation and the preservation of culinary traditions. The association's mission is to turn the capital into one of the world's gastronomic centers, to create a platform for the exchange of experience between craftsmen and novice specialists.
