Classic cola turned out to be the leader among soda flavors, topping the cumulative sales rating in Russia's million-plus cities in the first half of 2025. This was reported on September 16 by Gazeta.Ru", after reviewing the results of the Fresh Bar study.

The survey revealed that residents of St. Petersburg and Moscow demonstrate similar preferences: in both cities, cola ranks first (24% and 20% of the brand's beverage sales in the city, respectively). The preferences of Yekaterinburg residents differ, citrus drink is the most popular (23%), while cola accounts for 20%.

In Nizhny Novgorod, the composition of the three leaders differs: berry flavor is most in demand (20%), citrus flavor is in second place (16%) and nostalgic taste of marmalade bears is in third (14%).

"Despite the unconditional leadership of the classics in the overall standings, the preferences of Russians demonstrate pronounced regional specifics. "..." Brands need to take this factor into account when launching products on the market," says Polina Pilar, brand manager at Fresh Bar.
