The crew of the Su-34 multifunctional supersonic fighter-bomber of the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) struck at the personnel and a stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the area of a special military operation (SVO). This was announced on September 16 by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

"The strike was carried out at specified coordinates by aerial bombs with a universal planning and correction module (UMPC)," the defense ministry said.

After receiving confirmation of the destruction of the target, the crew returned to the departure airfield. It is specified that the combat mission was completed in the area of responsibility of the Southern Group of Forces (GRV).
