The gunners of the Vostok group of forces attacked the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Dnipropetrovsk region, disrupting the rotation of Ukrainian units. This was announced on September 16 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

According to the ministry, the concentration area was identified using a reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).
