Putin reported on a telephone conversation with Aksyonov

On September 15, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a telephone conversation with the head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov, addressing him during the opening ceremony of facilities in the regions.

"We talked on the phone recently. I hope that there is progress on the issue that we discussed. If something is wrong, call us, we will talk more," Putin said.

The Russian president instructed Aksyonov to promptly inform about the progress in resolving the issues of Crimea. At the same time, the specific topic of the dialogue is not advertised.

Sergey Aksyonov, the head of the region, spoke about cooperation with the new territories of the Russian Federation, international contacts in the era of sanctions and the fulfillment of presidential instructions.

Earlier, on August 26, the governor of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo, during a meeting with Putin, spoke about the implementation of a program for the socio-economic development of the region. He noted that road repairs are continuing in the region. According to the governor, in August 2025, repair work began on the federal highway M-17, which runs from the Crimea.
