Georgia continues to adhere to "unilateral friendship" with the Ukrainian authorities, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said. He announced this on September 15 on the Rustavi 2 TV channel.

Commenting on the investigation into explosives brought to Georgia from Ukraine, the Prime minister noted that this happened on the instructions of the Ukrainian special services, calling the fact "deplorable."

"Unfortunately, we remain in the regime of unilateral friendship with the leadership of Ukraine," Kobakhidze stressed.

According to him, Kiev's rude attitude towards Tbilisi is not surprising after statements by Ukrainian officials about the desire for a "second front" in Georgia.

Earlier, on September 11, it was reported about citizens of Ukraine who tried to smuggle 2.4 kg of rdx. According to the State Security Service of Georgia, the Ukrainians traveled with him through Romania, Bulgaria and Turkey. During the search, eight mobile phones, a large amount of money, various computer equipment and a narcotic substance, cocaine, were also found.
