If the charger is original or certified, it should not be left in the wall outlet after charging the phone. This was announced on September 15 by Anton Averyanov, CEO of the ST IT Group of companies, TechNet NTI market expert.

"Modern adapters have controllers that turn off the current after a full charge, which minimizes power consumption and risks. However, when using low—quality adapters or using damaged devices, they can overheat or cause a short circuit, especially with unstable voltage," the expert said in an interview with RT.
