US President Donald Trump intends to sign a memorandum on measures against crime in Memphis involving the National Guard. This was reported on September 15 in the social network X.

"Today, at the request of Tennessee Governor Bill Lee, I am signing a presidential memorandum on the creation of a security task force in Memphis — and this is very important due to the crime rate that is taking place here," the American leader was quoted as saying.
