At an emergency summit in Doha, the heads of state of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the League of Arab States (LAS) agreed to coordinate efforts to suspend Israel's membership in the United Nations. This was announced on September 15 by Al-Mamlaka TV channel.

In the final declaration, the leaders condemned attempts to resettle Palestinians from the occupied territories and called on the international community to "end the occupation and set a clear time frame" for this.

"A just and sustainable peace in the Middle East will not be achieved by ignoring the Palestinian issue," the document says.
