Bruce Willis' wife revealed the reason for his relocation to a separate house
The wife of American actor Bruce Willis, model Emma Heming-Willis, told why she moved her husband to a separate house. She said this in an interview with the British edition of The Sunday Times on September 15.
The model explained that such a step was necessary so that the actor could receive the necessary medical care, and the family could regain their usual rhythm of life.
Before the actor's departure, the woman felt like a nurse, and before the diagnosis of Willis, she even thought about divorce. According to her, living in a separate house, the actor has become a little more autonomous and even arranges meetings with friends.
"Despite the sadness and discomfort, it was the right step for him, for our daughters and for me. As a result, I was able to become his wife again. It's a huge gift," Heming-Willis said.
In March 2022, Bruce Willis' family announced that the actor would end his career due to aphasia, a speech disorder in which a person's cognitive abilities are impaired and the ability to speak is lost. Earlier, the American media wrote that it was difficult for the actor to memorize long lines during the filming process.
On February 16, 2023, it became known that doctors had diagnosed Bruce Willis with frontotemporal dementia. To date, experts do not know how to deal with the disease or at least slow down the degenerative processes.
On August 27, Heming-Willis told the media about the decision to move her husband to a new home, where he will be able to be under the constant supervision of professional nurses.
