The psychological drama "Transitional Age" produced by Netflix won the Emmy Award for Best miniseries. The 77th Television Awards Ceremony was held on the night of September 15th in Los Angeles.

"Transitional Age" received six awards. The winner in the Best Supporting Actor category was 15-year—old Owen Cooper, who starred in the series, becoming the youngest actor in history to receive an Emmy Award.

At the event, the jury noted the work of the director of "Transitional Age" Philip Barantini and screenwriters Jack Thorne and Stephen Graham. It is noted that each of the four episodes was shot in one frame, without editing.

The Emmy winners were also the series "Pitt Hospital" and "Film Studio".

Last year, at the 76th Emmy Television Awards ceremony, the winner in the Best Miniseries category was "Fawn," directed by Richard Gadd. "Shogun" directed by Fred Tua was recognized as the best drama series — the creators of the work took 18 statuettes out of a possible 25.
