The State Duma revealed the terms of compensation for a landline phone to labor veterans

Nikita Chaplin, a member of the State Duma's Budget and Taxes Committee, shared details of the conditions for receiving compensation for landline phone payments on September 15.

Such a payment is intended not for all citizens, but for labor veterans, military service veterans who were awarded the medal "For the Defense of Moscow" or the badge "To a resident of besieged Leningrad", as well as for pre-retirees who meet certain criteria.

"In order to receive compensation, the applicant must be registered in the region where it is provided and own a room with an installed phone," Chaplin said in an interview with RT.

It is specified that this measure is being successfully implemented in many regions of Russia. It is most popular among residents of the Moscow region. So, according to the deputy, in 2024, more than 30 thousand applications for this compensation were submitted in the Moscow region.
