Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday, September 15, noted that the work to reduce inflation in the Russian Federation is yielding results, and there is a clear downward trend in the country's economy.

"As for inflation, the trend here is quite bright. <...> Efforts to reduce inflation are yielding results. It is very important that the moderate price environment has a positive impact on business investment activity and allows for more dynamic and sustainable growth," the president said at a meeting on economic issues.
