Toyota unveils 17-seat electric car
Toyota has introduced a new electric vehicle in Japan, the e-Palette, a multi-purpose minibus designed for various transportation tasks. The automaker's press service shared details about the new product on September 15.
The Toyota e-Palette has a spacious interior, large glazing area, low floor, wide sliding doors and a floor height adjustment function that allows passengers with disabilities to board and disembark without assistance.

The Toyota e-Palette is 4950 mm long, 2080 mm wide, and 2650 mm high. The electric car is designed for 17 people, including the driver. There are four fixed seats in the passenger compartment, and three more folding seats are located opposite the sliding door.
Toyota representatives talked about one of the scenarios for using the e-Palette. For example, in the morning a minibus is used to transport passengers, in the afternoon it charges and performs the function of a mobile store, and in the evening a cinema hall is set up in it. The machines will be available to order and with various options at the customer's request.The Toyota e-Palette has one electric motor with a capacity of 204 hp, a battery with a capacity of 72.82 kWh allows you to drive up to 250 km on a single charge. It is stated that by 2027 Toyota plans to equip the e-Palette with a fourth-level autopilot. The price of the novelty is 29 million yen (more than 16 million rubles in translation).
