Belgee unveiled the restyled X70 crossover

Sales of the updated Belgee X70 crossover, which is produced at the local Belgee plant based on the Geely Atlas Pro, have begun in Belarus. The car received a modern design, improved interior and new technological solutions, the company's website reported on September 15.

Externally, the restyled Belgee X70 can be recognized by a different radiator grille with vertical slats. The crossover is distinguished by the presence of the Apple CarPlay protocol in the multimedia system and improved noise insulation.

The power plant has not changed. The Belgee X70 is still equipped with a 1.5-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 177 hp. In the starter configuration, the engine is combined with a six-speed automatic, front-wheel drive. The more expensive one has a seven-speed "robot", all-wheel drive and a 48-volt superstructure of the soft hybrid system.

The list of equipment includes a 12.3-inch central multimedia system screen, a 7-inch dashboard, dual-zone climate control, a six-speaker audio system, diode optics, 17-inch wheels, heated steering wheel and all seats, roof rails, parking sensors in front and rear, rear-view camera and other options.

The price of the updated crossover varies from 77.9 to 81.9 thousand Belarusian rubles. Pre-styling version (the same is sold in Russia) it costs from 72.9 thousand to 84.9 thousand rubles.

Earlier that day, it was reported that sales of Belgee cars in Russia increased 2.2 times in August and amounted to 7,806 units. For the first time, the Belarusian brand entered the top five leaders of the Russian car market, surpassing the Changan brand (7,010 units).

On September 9, Belgee announced that sales of the new Belgee X80 hybrid crossover will begin in Belarus at the end of September. It is stated that this is the first series-parallel hybrid in the line of the Belarusian plant. The Chinese Geely Galaxy Starship 7 was used as the basis for the Belgee X80.
