Zakharova declared Warsaw's aggressive position towards Minsk
Warsaw has recently taken an aggressive and destructive position towards Minsk, which is obvious to everyone. This was announced on September 15 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, to reporters.
"But what is happening now, and it started not only this year, but has been going on for the last few years, Warsaw is taking an extremely aggressive position... destructive, not just such bitterness, but resulting in practical actions against Belarus directly, this, in my opinion, is already clear and obvious to everyone," Zakharova said, quoted by RIA Novosti.
In addition, Zakharova said that the situation in Western Europe is catastrophic. She also stressed that the statements of Western countries about the alleged "threat from the East" are aimed at intimidating their own population.
"All this is being done because the situation in Western Europe is catastrophic from an economic point of view, from the point of view of the whole adventure that they have spun around Ukraine. We need to somehow inculcate this Russophobia and Belarusophobia further," the diplomat said.
On September 15, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that Minsk has no illusions about resuming dialogue with Warsaw under the new Polish president Karola Nawrocki. The Belarusian leader stressed that Poles and Belarusians are not enemies of each other, but Warsaw "continues to make unfounded claims and accusations" against Minsk.
Earlier, on September 12, Poland closed the border crossings operating on the borders with Belarus. The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic, Marcin Kervinsky, explained that the adoption of this decision was conditioned by the Russian-Belarusian strategic exercises Zapad-2025.
