The "yellow" weather hazard level due to the risk of fires is in effect in the Moscow region until September 19. This was announced by the press service of the Hydrometeorological Center of the Russian Federation on Monday, September 15.
"Fire danger. The warning period is until 2:00 a.m. on September 19," the Moscow City News Agency quoted the message as saying.
It is noted that the fourth class of fire hazard is expected in some areas of the region, writes RIAMO.
A similar warning will be in effect in Moscow until the evening of Thursday, September 18.
According to Mikhail Leus, a leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, the fire danger class is growing in the metropolitan region due to the dry weather, Moscow 24 clarifies.
On the same day, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Moscow region urged, due to the high fire risk in the region, to remain calm, observe safety rules and, if necessary, call 112.
