In the Simferopol region, a fire with an area of 50 hectares occurred in an open area of dry vegetation. This was announced on September 15 in the press service of the main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Crimea.

It is noted that rescue services are working at the scene, as well as water delivery equipment from the local administration.

The ministry clarified that 44 people and 18 pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. Currently, there is no information about the victims.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that a forest fire with an area of 80 hectares occurred in the Crimea. It was clarified that over the past night, the area of the forest fire in the village of Ordzhonikidze has grown to 80 hectares. More than 400 specialists and 91 pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.
