Military investigators seized 21 million rubles and more than 40 real estate objects from the former deputy chief of the rear of the internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Lieutenant General Vladimir Panov, who is accused of accepting bribes while fulfilling a state defense order. This was reported on September 15 in the Investigative Committee of Russia (IC RF).

"During the searches in Panov's home, more than 21 million rubles were seized, and over 40 real estate objects registered to Panov and his family members were found," the Telegram channel said.

The department clarified that in 2012, the state customer signed a contract with SK Remstroytorg LLC for over 2.5 billion rubles for construction work in the Kemerovo Region. At the same time, Panov himself supervised the execution of the order. In 2012-2014. Through an intermediary, he received a bribe in the amount of 37 million rubles from a representative of SK Remstroytorg LLC for general patronage during the execution of the state contract.

The court chose a preventive measure for Panov in the form of detention.
